A Wedding at the Homestead Court Hotel – Darren & Yvette
A wedding at the Homestead Court Hotel in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire 2019, what a wonderful day. Rain was forecast, so we were dubious as to whether we would be able to take the shots outside. However, the rain kept at bay and the photos went ahead as planned. The wedding party was a culmination of two families becoming one. A total of seven children between the bride and groom - wow, hats off to this couple. The youngest bridesmaid was stressing her mum, the bride, out and so I asked her to be my assistant. Armed with her disposable camera off we went taking photos of the guests, all eagerly waiting for the wedding at the Homestead Court Hotel and hopefully giving the bride some quiet time before the ceremony.
The four oldest bridesmaids wore beautiful silver dresses and the youngest a fairytale white dress. The two boys looked so smart in their suits and were a real credit to their mum. Many friends attended their wedding, which made it was such a happy day. The bridge in the gardens of the Homestead Court Hotel was the perfect place to take photos of the bride and groom.
From the moment everyone adorned the reception the dancing started and the room was filled with joy and laughter. There were some beautiful gifts given to all those who helped with the day, where the groom also surprised his new wife with a gorgeous bracelet, a surprise she wasn't expecting. The lovely cakes was displayed under an arch of flowers. The first dance was romantic, as the couple danced in the pink light of the disco. The room was full of laughter.
Such a lovely day and so blessed to have not only met a wonderful couple but some great friends and family. May their future be filled with happiness.
